Complying with our wedding timeline, Ron and I dropped by SM Mall of Asia Department Store to ask for assistance regarding our online enlistment to their Gift Registry service.

Christmas-y feels all over SM Mall of Asia.

Upon presenting our GR code, the staff asked for the details to be indicated in our GR Card, which we responded with Ronnel x Janine (replacing the traditional & with x to represent our 10th year together, heh! 🙂 ). She then phoned salespersons who will assist us as we choose items for our “wedding wishlist”.

We roamed around the linen, decor and appliance sections of the Department Store, chose reasonably-priced yet useful items for our little home and placed it in the shopping cart.

Stressful, yes, but the whole “wishlist shopping” was so enjoyable that we unknowingly filled up two shopping carts with two baskets each! 😀 .

Wedding Wishlist!

We went back to GR office to further talk about the details of the items we selected – what are to be bought as set and separately. Then we were handed our GR Kit, which include 100 pcs. of GR Cards for the guests, and 2 pcs. GR Registrant Cards for Ron and I.

I checked our online SM Registry account and was surprised to see that the pictures of our wishlist are already posted. It didn’t even take 24 hours for those to be posted online, nuxx! Kudos to Gift Registry staffs of SM Mall of Asia for giving us smooth wishlist selection experience. 😉

I’ve always been curious what a bridal registry is. So to have a grasp on how it works, I did what I do best when it comes to wedding planning — research.
